More Big Bang family members coming

The biggest news from the Writers Room at this years Comic Con is the introduction of Penny's family. We saw Leonard's father at the end of last season and now its Penny's turn with her mother and brother being cast.

Katey Sagal will play the mother of Kaley Cuoco’s character, Penny. These two have already worked together on '8 Simple Rules' where she also played her mom. She has also starred in 'Sons of Anarchy' and 'Married with Children'.

Sagel's character is described as stressed out and neurotic from a life with her troubled son, who is going to be played by Jack McBrayer from '30 Rock'. Jack's character is a 'drug dealer who has just gotten out of prison.' Steve Moralo showrunner Steve Molaro revealed at Comic-Con.. "We needed to find the right person to get for this," he said of Jack, adding: "I think we did a pretty good job on the casting. He’s a little scary."

Both will appear in the first episode of Season 10.
